I earned my BFA in photography where I studied both editorial portraiture and documentary storytelling - a blend that taught me to shape light and composition while staying attuned to real emotion. I find beauty in that balance and it continues to guide how I approach my work today.
After photographing so many celebrations, one thing I always tell my couples is that your time is one of the most valuable things you have on your wedding day — how you spend it, who you spend it with, and the memories you get to take with you. We’ll make time for the beautiful portraits, but never at the expense of being present for the people and moments that matter.
Outside of photography
I grew up on the south shore of Long Island, where I learned to care deeply about things like good bagels and better pizza. These days, I’m rooted in Golden, Colorado with my partner and our three wild and wonderful animals. My favorite kind of weekend usually includes a trailhead and a sky full of stars. Otherwise, you’ll find me enjoying a slow dinner outside with people I love or tending to my beloved but high-maintenance dahlia garden.
I love beautiful things, but I like them with a little life in them — good wine opened, shoes kicked off, a dress that might not make it through the night perfectly clean. I’m drawn to people who care about the details, but care even more about having a really good time with the people they love.
